What’s this then?

Honestly I think it’s a ploy from The Wife to stop reading horrific short stories I make her read.

Ever since I’ve gotten back into writing she’s encouraged me to talk about our life and the complications we often face with raising the Little One and his additional needs.

You can read Henry’s Hope here which follows the first couple of years with Henry.

So because I’m the Okayest husband as well, I’ve finally set something up to write and share our experiences.

Have you ever said to someone “I don’t know how you do it.” well this is a place where I can give an insight into how we do it.

I’ve set up a couple of new social media accounts as well. While I love to write, it can be time consuming in our time poor world so it could be a photo and/or unpopular opinion I can just fire off quickly and then hopefully follow up with a more detailed post.

So probably a bit about me and why I’m such an expert on being the okayest dad.

45 year old male

1 wife (will be referred to as The Wife)

2 kids (will be referred to as Big One and Little One, the Little One is the hard work with his rare disease – Dup15q. Make no mistake the Big One is hard work but he’s normal teenager hard work.)

I’m still feeling out what it’ll fully be, I may touch on politics or sports or it could be rage post at a 20 something fitness influencer telling me to ‘just make time to exercise’ (maybe you need to make some time to ‘go fuck yourself’) or PEG feed meal prep videos/recipes or a rant about how Peter Rabbit is the worst (fuck that rabbit and his friends).

Anyway, we’ll work it out as we go and not take it all too seriously and if you got any suggestions reach out and let me know.

In all seriousness though, I thank and appreicate anyone that wants to follow along.
